Profile of the Programme
The Bachelor of Science Industrial Design Engineering Technology is the base for the subsequent Master of Science in Industrial Design Engineering Technology. The program consists of a number of scientific and technological courses that are common to all bachelors Industrial Sciences (90 credits) in various engineering disciplines: mathematics, statistics, mechanics, physics, chemistry, electrical engineering, computer science, electronics, materials, environmental, energy, engineering, business management and quality assurance. This spectrum of scientific disciplines is the foundation for an industrial designer to function in an interdisciplinary, innovative design environment. The programme also includes a number of courses specializing in industrial design (90 credits). These courses include, besides lectures, tutorials and practicals, design projects that are performed individually or in a team. In each project the student must integrate various scientific and design competencies.
